These gorgeous Blue Faced Honeyeaters were flitting around the garden. I just had to paint them. Many unsuccessful reference photos later, I managed a few that were actually in focus, as they were so fast flying. This is version #2 of the same pose as painting #1, but the canvas is smaller in size.
