I was watching with absolute fascination these amazing little insects buzzing around the brightly coloured sunflowers in the hills of Tasmania.  I knew I had to paint these creatures.  Lots of reference photos were taken both of the sunflowers and the bumblebees and these were finally painted back home in my studio in Brookfield.
